Widikum-Boffe Council is the municipal administration of Widikum Sub-Division. Presidential Decree No. 92/187 of 1/09/1992 created Widikum Sub-Division in 1992. It is one of the five subdivisions that make up Momo Division of the North West Region.

Widikum town is the headquarters of Widikum Sub-Division. The Widikum-Boffe Municipaity covers all of Widikum Sub-Division. At the helm of the Widikum-Boffe Council administration is the  Lord MAYOR - Mr.  ANDUH  Stanislous  TAMBU, and he is deputized by: the 1st Deputy MAYOR - ................... .................. and the 2nd Deputy MAYOR - Mr Taranus MBUN DAGHA.

Tinto subdivision bounds it to the South. In the North and North East, it is bounded by Njikwa Subdivision and to the East by Ngie and Batibo Subdivisions. Widikum is situated at 58Km from Bamenda the Regional headquarters, on the road from Bamenda (North-West Region to Manyu Division (South-West Region).

The municipality and the subdivision have common boundaries. The Widikum-Boffe municipality is made up of 4 clans. Each has its own history, and its own traditional head and administration the clan are as follows: Ambelle, Bussam, Widikum and Menka.
